Why is the acceleration of my BMW i5 slower than expected?

I have recently purchased a BMW i5 and noticed that the acceleration is not as fast as I expected. Is there something wrong with the car or is it just a feature of the car?

There may be a few reasons why your BMW i5's acceleration is slower than expected. Firstly, make sure the car is in its 'Sport' mode when you want to accelerate quickly. Also, keep in mind that the i5 is an electric car and may have a different 'feel' compared to a gasoline car. Lastly, check your tire pressure as low tire pressure can affect acceleration.

I've experienced the same issue with my BMW i5 and found that it can be due to the car's 'Eco Pro' mode, which prioritizes energy efficiency over performance. Try switching to 'Comfort' or 'Sport' mode to see if there is a difference in acceleration.

Another possible reason for slower acceleration could be due to a faulty or worn out battery pack. It's always a good idea to have your car checked by a certified mechanic to ensure all components are functioning properly.
