I've noticed that my BMW i3 battery only charges up to 80% and never reaches 100%. Is this normal? How can I fix this issue?
ReplyThe BMW i3 has a feature called 'Charge Limiting' which stops the battery from reaching full capacity in order to prolong its lifespan. You can adjust this setting in the iDrive system to allow for a full charge.
I had a similar issue and found that my charging cable was damaged. Make sure to inspect your cable for any signs of wear and replace it if necessary.
