Why does the BMW 7 Series have a V8 engine?

I've noticed that most luxury car brands have moved to smaller, more efficient engines, but the BMW 7 Series still has a V8 engine. Is there a reason for this?

There are a few reasons why BMW has chosen to stick with a V8 engine in the 7 Series. Firstly, a V8 offers a smooth and powerful driving experience that many luxury car buyers value. Additionally, BMW has put a lot of effort into developing efficient and advanced V8 engines that can compete with smaller engines in terms of fuel economy.

Having a V8 engine also allows for a more balanced weight distribution in the car, which can improve handling and performance. Many BMW enthusiasts also appreciate the iconic sound of a V8 engine, which adds to the overall driving experience.

If you're concerned about the environmental impact of a V8 engine, keep in mind that the BMW 7 Series also offers hybrid and plug-in hybrid options that can reduce emissions and improve fuel economy.
