Why does my BMW M2 have a loud exhaust?

I recently purchased a BMW M2 and noticed that the exhaust is much louder than other cars I've driven. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

It is normal for the BMW M2 to have a louder exhaust than other cars. This is due to the design of the exhaust system, which allows for more airflow and a more aggressive engine sound. However, if the noise is excessive or you notice any strange sounds, it is best to have it checked by a mechanic.

I had the same question when I first got my BMW M2. It is common for sports cars to have a louder exhaust for performance reasons. As long as there are no other concerning noises or issues, you should be fine.
