I have noticed that the brakes on my BMW Z4 make a high-pitched squeaking noise whenever I come to a stop. It's starting to happen more frequently and it's really annoying. What could be causing this and what can I do to fix it?
ReplyMake sure to check the condition of your brake calipers as well. They may need to be lubricated to reduce the noise.
It's possible that the squeaking noise is due to worn brake pads. You may need to replace them if they are too thin.
It could also be caused by dirty brake rotors. Try cleaning them with brake cleaner spray.
