What is the best type of oil for a BMW X5?

I recently purchased a BMW X5 and I am unsure of what type of oil to use. I want to make sure I am using the best oil for the performance of my car. Can you provide some recommendations?

For the BMW X5, it is recommended to use a full synthetic oil such as Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge.

I have a BMW X5 as well and I personally use Amsoil synthetic oil. It has excellent performance and provides great protection for your engine.
