What is the best model year for the BMW 7 Series?

I am in the market for a used BMW 7 Series and trying to figure out which model year would be the best value. Can anyone offer any insight or advice?

In my experience, the 2016 BMW 7 Series is a great choice. It has a good balance of features and reliability, while also being more affordable compared to newer models.
