How to check engine oil level in the BMW X8?

I just bought a new BMW X8 and I'm not sure how to check the engine oil level. Can you please provide some guidance on the steps to do so?

First, park the car on level ground and wait at least 10 minutes for the oil to settle. Then, locate the dipstick on the engine, pull it out and wipe it clean. Insert the dipstick back in and pull it out again to check the oil level. It should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If it is below the minimum mark, you need to add more oil.
