How do I turn off the automatic start/stop feature in my BMW X2?

I recently purchased a new BMW X2 and I find the automatic start/stop feature to be quite annoying. Is there a way to turn it off permanently?

I understand your frustration with the automatic start/stop feature. The good news is, you do have the ability to turn it off permanently. To do so, simply press the 'Drive Experience Control' button located next to the gear shifter. Select the 'User' mode and navigate to the 'Efficiency' section. From there, you can disable the automatic start/stop feature.
