Why does my BMW M8 engine overheat?

I've noticed that my BMW M8 engine has been overheating lately. What could be causing this issue and how can I prevent it?

The most likely cause of engine overheating is a low coolant level. Check your coolant reservoir and top it off if necessary. Also, make sure there are no leaks in the cooling system.

Another possible cause could be a faulty thermostat. If the thermostat is not opening and closing properly, it could cause the engine to overheat. Have it checked and replaced if necessary.
