I have recently serviced my BMW X3 and the service indicator is still on. How can I reset it without going to the dealership?
ReplyTo reset the service indicator, start by turning on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the odometer reset button until the indicator lights go out. Release the button and turn off the ignition. This should reset the service indicator.
You can also try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This will reset the service indicator as well.
If neither of those methods work, it may be best to take your BMW X3 to a certified mechanic or dealership to have it reset professionally.
