How do I reset the oil service light on my BMW 1 Series?

I recently serviced my BMW 1 Series and the oil service light is still on. How can I reset it myself without going to the dealership?

To reset the oil service light on your BMW 1 Series, follow these steps:

First, turn on your ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold the odometer button until a triangle appears on the display.

Then, release the odometer button and wait for the display to show "Oil Service" or "Inspection".
