How do I reset the oil indicator on a BMW 3 Series?

I just had an oil change on my BMW 3 Series and the oil indicator light is still on. How do I reset it?

To reset the oil indicator on a BMW 3 Series, follow these steps: 1) Turn the ignition on, but do not start the car. 2) Press the trip odometer button repeatedly until the OIL SERVICE or INSPECTION message appears. 3) Press and hold the trip odometer button until the message disappears. 4) Release the button and turn the ignition off.
