Battery Replacement in the BMW i3

I have been driving my BMW i3 for about 4 years now and it seems like my battery is starting to lose its charge. Is there anything I can do to improve the life of my battery, or do I need to replace it altogether?

Hi Sophie, the battery in the BMW i3 is designed to last for about 100,000 miles. If you are experiencing a decrease in range, it may be time to replace the battery. It's also important to regularly maintain your battery by keeping it charged between 20-80% and avoiding frequent, fast charging.

Hi Sophie, I had a similar issue with my BMW i3 and found that keeping a consistent charging schedule and avoiding extreme temperatures can help prolong the life of your battery. However, if your battery is showing signs of wear, it may be time for a replacement.
