Why is the BMW M6's transmission not shifting smoothly?

I've noticed that my BMW M6's transmission has been shifting very roughly and not as smoothly as it used to. What could be causing this issue and what steps can I take to fix it?

It's possible that your transmission fluid needs to be changed. It's recommended to change it every 50,000 miles or so. Also, check for any leaks in your transmission system and get them fixed immediately to avoid further damage.

You may be experiencing issues with your transmission's solenoids. These can become clogged with debris over time and cause shifting problems. It's best to get them cleaned or replaced by a professional mechanic.

Another common cause of rough shifting is worn out clutch plates. These can become worn over time and need to be replaced periodically. Make sure to have your clutch plates inspected regularly.
