Why is my BMW X5 displaying a 'coolant level low' warning?

I have a 2015 BMW X5 and recently the 'coolant level low' warning has been appearing every few days. I checked the coolant level and it seems to be fine. What could be causing this warning to appear and how can I fix it?

This warning could indicate a leak in the coolant system. It's important to have this checked and repaired as soon as possible to avoid any potential engine damage.

It's also possible that the coolant level sensor is malfunctioning. This can be fixed by replacing the sensor.

In some cases, the warning may be caused by a faulty coolant level sensor. You may want to get it checked and replaced if necessary.
