Why is my BMW 2 Series Making a Squeaking Noise?

I recently noticed that my BMW 2 Series is making a squeaking noise while driving. It seems to be coming from the front of the car and gets louder when I brake. What could be causing this and what should I do about it?

Hi Emily, it sounds like you may have an issue with your brake pads. Over time, the pads wear down and can cause a squeaking noise when they come in contact with the rotor. I would suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have them inspected and replaced if necessary.

It's possible that there could be something stuck in your wheel well causing the noise. I would recommend checking for any debris or foreign objects that could be causing the squeaking. If you can't find anything, it's best to have a professional take a look.

Another potential cause could be worn out suspension components. If your car is older or has high mileage, it's possible that the suspension may be in need of some maintenance. A mechanic can inspect the suspension and make any necessary repairs.
