Why does my BMW X8 make a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I just purchased a brand new BMW X8 and I noticed that whenever I turn the steering wheel, there is a clicking noise coming from the front of the car. It's very noticeable and I'm concerned that there may be a technical issue with my car. Can someone explain what could be causing this and if I should be worried?

Hi Samantha, congratulations on your new car! The clicking noise you're hearing is most likely due to a worn or faulty CV joint. It's not uncommon for this to happen in new cars, as they may have been sitting on the lot for a while before being sold. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic to get it checked out and replaced if necessary.
