Why does my BMW M3 make a rattling noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed that my BMW M3 makes a rattling noise when I accelerate, but only at certain speeds. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

Hi Sophia! It's possible that the rattling noise could be caused by a loose exhaust system or a faulty heat shield. I would recommend having a mechanic check it out just to be safe.
