What type of oil should I use in my BMW M2?

I am planning to do an oil change on my BMW M2 and I am wondering which type of oil would be best for my car? Should I stick with the recommended synthetic oil or can I use a different type? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Erica, for optimal performance and engine longevity, it is best to stick with the recommended synthetic oil for your BMW M2. Synthetic oils have better viscosity and thermal stability, allowing them to provide better protection for your engine. Additionally, they tend to last longer than conventional oils, making them a better investment in the long run.

Hi Erica, you can certainly use a different type of oil in your BMW M2, but keep in mind that it may not provide the same level of protection and performance as the recommended synthetic oil. If you do decide to use a different oil, make sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for viscosity and change intervals.
