What should I do if my BMW 8 Series is experiencing brake fade?

I recently took my BMW 8 Series to the track and noticed that the brakes were not performing as well as they used to. After a few laps, the brake pedal became spongy and it took longer to slow down. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my brakes?

It is not normal for your BMW 8 Series to experience brake fade, especially on the track. This could be a sign of worn brake pads or a potential brake fluid leak. It is important to have your brakes inspected by a certified mechanic to determine the cause.

You may also want to check your brake fluid level and make sure it is within the recommended range. Low brake fluid can cause brake fade and could indicate a leak in the braking system. It is always better to be safe and get your brakes checked sooner rather than later.
