What is the recommended oil type for the BMW M7 engine?

I just purchased a BMW M7 and I want to make sure I am using the right oil for optimal performance. What type of oil does BMW recommend for the M7 engine? Any specific brands?

According to BMW, the recommended oil type for the M7 engine is 10W-60 synthetic oil. They also recommend using premium brands such as Castrol, Mobil 1, or Valvoline.

I have been using 5W-30 synthetic oil in my BMW M7 and have not encountered any issues. However, if you want to follow BMW's recommendation, I would suggest switching to 10W-60 synthetic oil.
