I just purchased a BMW XM and I'm wondering what type of engine oil I should use. Any recommendations?

The recommended engine oil for a BMW XM is BMW 5W-30 Longlife-04 oil.

I personally use Mobil 1 0W-40 oil in my BMW XM and have had great results.
