What is the difference between the BMW i5 and i8 batteries?

I am interested in purchasing a BMW i5 but I am not sure about the battery type. Can anyone explain the difference between the i5 and i8 batteries and which one would be more suitable for daily use?

The BMW i5 and i8 batteries are both lithium-ion batteries, however, the i5 has a smaller capacity of 60Ah compared to the i8's 94Ah. This means the i8 will have a longer range but the i5 is more cost-effective for daily use.
