What is BMW M6's Active M Differential?

I am considering purchasing BMW's M6. Can someone explain to me what the Active M Differential is and how it affects the car's performance?

The Active M Differential is an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, which distributes power between the rear wheels to optimize traction and handling. It allows for more precise and agile driving, especially while cornering.

I have driven the BMW M6 with and without the Active M Differential, and I can say it definitely makes a noticeable difference in the car's handling and stability. I highly recommend opting for this feature if you want to get the full performance out of the M6.

Some people may argue that the Active M Differential is not necessary and that you can get similar results with other aftermarket differential systems. However, I believe that BMW's engineers have finely tuned this feature to work perfectly with the M6, and it's worth the investment.
