Troubleshooting Tips for BMW i3 Electric Motor

I recently bought a used BMW i3 and have been experiencing some issues with the electric motor. It seems to be running rough and making strange noises. What could be causing this and do I need to take it to a mechanic?

Hi Samantha, it's always a good idea to get any car issues checked out by a mechanic. However, there are a few things you can try first before heading to the shop. Check the condition of your battery and make sure it's fully charged. Also, check the air filters and make sure they are clean. If these don't seem to be the issue, it could be a problem with the electric motor itself. In that case, it's best to take it to a mechanic who specializes in electric vehicles.
