Is the BMW iX battery able to handle extreme temperatures?

I live in a very cold climate and am considering purchasing a BMW iX. Will the battery perform well in the winter? How about during hot summers?

I've had my BMW iX for a few months now and have taken it through both extremely hot and cold temperatures. So far, I haven't noticed any major issues with the battery.
