I've been having issues with my BMW 1 Series's coolant temperature constantly rising. What could be the problem and how can I resolve it?
ReplyIt is possible that there could be a leak in your cooling system causing the coolant to constantly decrease. Check for any visible leaks or cracks in the hoses and radiator. If found, these components will need to be replaced.
A faulty thermostat could also be the culprit. It could be stuck in the closed position, causing the coolant to not circulate properly. It is recommended to have it replaced if this is the case.
Another common issue is a malfunctioning water pump. If it is not functioning properly, it will not be able to circulate the coolant throughout the system. This may need to be replaced as well.
