How to troubleshoot a carburetor issue on a BMW motorcycle?

I've been experiencing some issues with my carburetor on my BMW motorcycle. It seems to be running too lean and the engine is sputtering. I checked the jet sizes and they seem fine. Any suggestions on what could be causing this issue?

This could be a result of a clogged fuel filter. I would recommend checking and replacing the filter if necessary. It's also a good idea to clean the carburetor and make sure all the jets and passages are clear.

Another possibility is that the carburetor may need to be rejetted. The stock jet sizes on BMW motorcycles tend to be on the leaner side, so it's possible that a larger jet size would help improve performance.
