There are a few potential reasons for your engine misfiring, including faulty spark plugs, a clogged fuel injector, or a failing ignition coil. To troubleshoot, I would recommend starting by checking and replacing your spark plugs, as these are often the most common culprit. If that doesn't solve the issue, then it could be a clogged fuel injector or a failing ignition coil. In either case, it's best to bring your car to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Another possible cause for your engine misfiring could be a vacuum leak. Check all the vacuum hoses and connections to make sure they are intact and not leaking. If you don't find any issues there, it's possible that the issue is with your oxygen sensors. These sensors measure the amount of oxygen in your exhaust and help the engine adjust its fuel-to-air ratio for optimal performance. If they are faulty, they could be causing your engine to misfire. It's best to take your car to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

In some cases, a dirty or clogged air filter can also lead to engine misfiring. Make sure to check and replace your air filter if necessary. Additionally, low fuel pressure can also cause misfiring. You can test your fuel pressure using a fuel pressure gauge and replace the fuel filter if it's low. If these steps don't solve the issue, then it's recommended to take your car to a mechanic for further diagnosis.
