I am having trouble with the media system in my BMW XM. It seems to be frozen and won't respond to any button or touch screen input. How can I reset the system to get it working again?
ReplyYou can try resetting the media system by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. This should force the system to restart and hopefully fix the issue.
Sometimes, simply turning off and on the car can also reset the media system. Give it a try and see if it works.
If the above methods don't work, you may need to disconnect the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. This will also reset the system.
