How to maximize the fuel efficiency of a BMW M4?

I recently purchased a BMW M4 and have been enjoying the driving experience. However, I have been noticing that the fuel efficiency is not as high as I expected. Is there anything I can do to maximize the fuel efficiency of my M4? Any tips or techniques would be greatly appreciated!
