How to fix squeaky brakes in a BMW 1 Series?

I've recently noticed that there's a squeaky noise coming from my brakes whenever I press on them. It's really annoying and I'm worried that it might be a sign of a bigger problem. Has anyone experienced this issue before and found a solution? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Samantha, I had the same problem with my BMW 1 Series. I found that the noise was coming from worn out brake pads. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic and have them replaced. It's a simple fix and will save you from any potential issues down the road. I hope this helps!

Hey Samantha, I've also experienced squeaky brakes in my BMW 1 Series. I discovered that it was caused by rust build-up on the brake discs. I would recommend getting the discs cleaned or replaced if necessary. This should eliminate the noise. Good luck!

Hi there, I faced a similar issue with my BMW 1 Series brakes. It turned out that the noise was due to the brake calipers not working properly. I suggest getting them checked and replaced if needed to solve the problem. Hope this helps!
