How to change the oil in a BMW X6?

I am not very familiar with cars, but I want to learn how to change the oil in my BMW X6. Can someone walk me through the steps?

First, gather all necessary supplies such as a new oil filter, oil pan, and fresh oil. Then, locate the oil filter and drain plug underneath your BMW X6. Unscrew the oil filter and drain the old oil into the oil pan. Next, put in the new oil filter and then refill the oil tank with fresh oil.
