How often should the tire pressure be checked in a BMW X7?

I recently purchased a BMW X7 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. How often should I check the tire pressure and what should I do if the pressure is too high or too low?

I suggest keeping a tire pressure gauge in your car so you can check it whenever needed. If the pressure is too low, use an air compressor to fill it to the recommended levels. If it is too high, let some air out using the valve stem.
