How does the BMW M9 engine perform on the track?

I'm considering purchasing a BMW M9 and I want to know how its engine performs on the track. Does it have enough power and acceleration to keep up with other high performance cars? Are there any known issues with the engine?

In my experience, the BMW M9 has more than enough power and acceleration to hold its own on the track. The engine is top-notch and I have not encountered any issues with it.
