How does the BMW i4 manage regenerative braking?

I am interested in purchasing a BMW i4 and was wondering how the regenerative braking system works? Does it automatically engage when I take my foot off the accelerator? Will this impact my range and driving experience? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Samantha, congratulations on considering the BMW i4! The regenerative braking system automatically engages when you take your foot off the accelerator, helping you to save energy and improve your range. It may initially feel different from traditional braking, but you will quickly adjust and appreciate the benefits. I recommend trying it out during a test drive to get a feel for how it works. Happy driving!

Hey Samantha, the BMW i4's regenerative braking system recaptures kinetic energy and feeds it back into the battery, extending your range and improving your energy efficiency. It's a seamless transition and won't impact your driving experience at all. Hope this helps!

Hi Samantha, I've been driving a BMW i4 for a few months now and the regenerative braking system has been a game changer. It makes a big difference in maximizing your range and giving you a smooth driving experience. Don't worry about adjusting to it, you'll get the hang of it in no time. Best of luck!
