How do you reset the oil change indicator on a BMW X4?

I recently changed the oil on my BMW X4 but the oil change indicator on the dashboard is still on. How do I reset it?

To reset the oil change indicator on a BMW X4, start by turning on the ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold the odometer reset button until the display shows a series of dashes. Release the button and then press and hold it again until the display shows ‘RESET’. Release the button and press it one more time to confirm the reset.
