How do I turn off the automatic start/stop function in my BMW X3?

I find that the automatic start/stop function in my BMW X3 is quite annoying and would prefer to have it permanently off. Is there a way to disable this feature?

To turn off the automatic start/stop function in your BMW X3, simply press the 'Eco Pro' button on your dashboard. This will deactivate the feature and your car will no longer shut off when you come to a stop. Keep in mind that by doing so, you may see a slight decrease in fuel efficiency.
