I find the Automatic Engine Start/Stop feature on my BMW 4 Series to be annoying. Is there a way to turn it off permanently?

To turn off the Automatic Engine Start/Stop feature on your BMW 4 Series, first start your vehicle and go to the iDrive menu. Then select 'Driving' and then 'Efficient Dynamics'. From there, you can toggle the start/stop function on or off. Keep in mind that in order to permanently disable this feature, you will need to reprogram the ECU which may void your warranty.
