How do I reset the automatic climate control in my BMW X8?

Everytime I get into my BMW X8, the automatic climate control is set to a temperature that is too high for my liking. How can I reset it to a more comfortable temperature setting?

To reset the automatic climate control in your BMW X8, simply press and hold the recirculation and A/C buttons for 10 seconds.
