How do I reset my BMW X7's infotainment system?

I am having trouble with my BMW X7's infotainment system. It has frozen on me and I am not sure how to reset it. Can anyone help me with this issue?

First, try a soft reset by holding down the volume button for 10 seconds until it restarts. If that doesn't work, you can also try disconnecting the car's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
