To reset your computer, you can follow these steps: 1. Turn off your BMW 1 Series. 2. Open the driver's side door and keep it open. 3. Press and hold the 'Trip' button on your dashboard. 4. While holding the button, turn on your car by pressing the 'Start' button twice. 5. Continue holding the 'Trip' button until 'Reinitialize' appears on your dashboard. 6. Release the 'Trip' button and press it again to confirm the reset. Your computer should now be reset.

Another way to reset your BMW 1 Series computer is to disconnect the negative terminal of your car battery for about 15 minutes. This will allow the computer to completely power down and reset itself.

If none of these methods work, it is recommended to take your car to a BMW dealership for professional help.
