How do I properly maintain the power steering in my BMW M4?

I've noticed some stiffness in my power steering recently and I'm not sure how to address it. Can someone provide guidance on the best way to maintain the power steering in the BMW M4?

The stiffness in the power steering could be due to low fluid levels. I recommend checking the power steering fluid and topping it off if needed. If the issue persists, it could be a sign of a bigger problem and I suggest taking your BMW M4 to a trusted mechanic.

Regularly flushing and replacing the power steering fluid helps maintain the system. I suggest doing this every 30,000 miles. Also, make sure to use a high-quality power steering fluid that is compatible with your BMW M4.

Check the power steering belt for any signs of wear or damage. If it's worn out, it could be causing the stiffness. Replacing the belt should help resolve the issue.
