To check your engine oil level, park your car on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Then, locate the oil dipstick which can usually be found near the front of the engine. Pull it out and wipe it with a clean cloth. Insert the dipstick back in and pull it out again. The oil level should fall somewhere between the two markings on the dipstick. If it is low, you can add more oil by removing the oil cap on top of the engine and pouring in the recommended type of oil. Make sure not to overfill.

Keeping an eye on your engine oil level is important for the overall health of your car. Low oil levels can lead to engine damage and costly repairs. It's always a good idea to check your oil level regularly, especially before long trips.
