I've noticed that my BMW X1's oil filter needs to be changed. How can I do this without causing any damage to my car's engine? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyHi James, changing the oil filter in a BMW X1 is actually quite simple. First, locate the oil filter cap, which is situated on the top of the engine. Use a filter wrench to unscrew the cap and remove the old filter. Make sure to drain any oil that may still be inside the filter. Then, replace the old filter with a new one and screw the cap back on. Remember to dispose of the old filter properly. It's also a good idea to replace the oil at the same time. I hope this helps!
