How do I activate the automatic parking system on my BMW X4?

I recently purchased a BMW X4 and I'm having trouble figuring out how to activate the automatic parking system. Can someone please provide me with step by step instructions?

First, make sure your vehicle is in drive mode and is slowly moving forward. Once the vehicle speed reaches between 0.6 and 6.2 mph, press the 'P' button on the center console to activate the parking assistant. You will then see a 'P' symbol on the instrument cluster indicating the system is active.

Alternatively, you can also activate the automatic parking system by pressing the 'P' button on the center console without moving the vehicle. This is helpful when you are trying to park in a tight space.
