BMW M2: What type of tires should I use for winter driving?

I recently purchased a BMW M2 and I am wondering what type of tires would be best for driving in the winter. I have heard conflicting opinions on whether all-season or winter tires are better. Can you provide some insight and recommendations?

Janine, for optimal winter driving performance, I highly recommend using winter tires on your BMW M2. These tires are specifically designed for cold weather, providing better grip and handling on snowy and icy roads. All-season tires may suffice in mild winter conditions, but for maximum safety and control, winter tires are the way to go.

Hi Janine, it really depends on the type of driving you will be doing in the winter. If you will be regularly driving on snowy or icy roads, then winter tires would be the best choice for your BMW M2. However, if you live in an area with mild winters and plan on avoiding snowy roads, all-season tires should be suitable. Just be sure to regularly check the tread and pressure of your tires to ensure they are in good condition for winter driving.

Janine, I have been driving a BMW M2 for years and have always found that winter tires are the way to go for the best performance in winter conditions. However, if you are on a budget and only experience mild winters, all-season tires may be a more cost-effective option. Just be aware that they may not provide the same level of grip and handling as winter tires.
