What is the purpose of the Drive Performance Control in the BMW 4 Series?

I've recently purchased a BMW 4 Series and noticed a button labeled 'Drive Performance Control'. What does this button do and how does it affect the car's performance?

The Drive Performance Control is designed to adjust the car's engine, transmission, and steering response to fit your driving preferences. By selecting between 'ECO PRO', 'COMFORT', and 'SPORT' modes, you can alter the car's performance to suit your needs.

If you want a more fuel-efficient drive, I recommend using the 'ECO PRO' mode. By reducing engine power and adjusting transmission and steering, the car will consume less fuel. However, if you prefer a more dynamic experience, switch to 'SPORT' mode for sharper throttle and steering response.

Personally, I find that the 'COMFORT' mode strikes a good balance between fuel efficiency and performance. It's perfect for everyday driving, but if you feel like having a bit more fun, just switch to 'SPORT' mode.
